Thank you for your donations!
Malawi is rated one of the poorest countries in the world. In terms of GDP per capita, it is the actual poorest in the entire world. Many, including women and children, have little or no access to clean water. Click the image above to be taken to a BBC Profile of Malawi, Africa.
12/16 Update: Well #8 has been funded! More information to come...
Exciting news! Well #6 in Kadzombe and well #7 in Mtema have been bored, all thanks to God and our generous partners! This beautiful scene, pictured, is from the well dedication ceremony in Kazombe. Prior to having this well, villagers in this community of 52 households, 2 schools and a church had to travel 10 kilometers (6.2 miles), one way, to the nearest borehole for water. Similarly, villagers in Mtema, which is home to many sick and elderly, were traveling 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) for water. Both of these villages now have clean, abundant water. What a blessing!
Every dollar helps. If you can't give anything today, we are so appreciative of your prayers in making these efforts successful. God bless!
